Maple Shade Villa
Maple Shade Villa Welcome to the Maple Shade Villa, located DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE COOPERSTOWN DREAMS PARK. The house was built 123 years ago by one of the local "Hop Barons" Hiram Kinney. At that time, this section of NYS was famous for the production of hops, used in making beer. Hiram and his wife, newly arrived from France, lived here with their five children. Many years have passed and several owners, but the house still has the original floor plan, woodkwork and ambience that was here one hundred years ago. The Maple Shade Villa is furnished with period antiques and curious items from all over the world. Some people like to just walk around and look.
Third Floor Apartment - $2100 + tax The third floor apartment has three bedrooms, two baths, a common area with TV and a Kitchenette. The West room has two full sized beds, the East, has one full sized bed and the North room, has two singles. This area is perfect for eight people.
Second Floor Suite - $880 + tax On the second floor we have the "Hired Girls" suite. This consists of a room with a full sized bed, annex with 2 small antique beds, perfect for children, and its' own bath. Continental breakfast served daily. Sleeps two to four people.
